DeskWitness shows complete Intercom support conversations in a card on the matching HubSpot contact, with sync gaps made visible. Here is what you need before you start.

What you need
- A US-hosted Intercom workspace (the EU and Australia regions are not supported yet), and permission to authorize apps in it.
- A HubSpot account you can install apps in. Sign in to it, or create it, before you continue: brand-new HubSpot accounts can occasionally be held for identity verification by HubSpot.
- Use the same browser for both steps, and finish within 45 minutes.
What DeskWitness reads and does
- From Intercom it has read-only access to conversations, contacts, companies, tickets, teammates and tags. It never writes to Intercom.
- In HubSpot it can create or update contacts and companies and associate them, but only after you review a dry run and enable sync. Nothing is written before that.
- Message text is stored encrypted and kept for up to 90 days.
